Summer Holiday 2025
Boat of Garten
Monday 30th June – Sunday 6th July
Following on from the 2025 National Rally at Guildtown (27th – 30th June) there will be a week-long holiday in the Highland village of Boat of Garten.
What happens?
During the week several day runs will be organised in and around the stunning Cairngorm, Moray and Inverness areas.
Each evening (with the exception of Thursday) we have exclusive use of a covered outdoor area for barbecues and room in the Village Hall to socialise.
Boat of Garten village
The village has three restaurants (hotels, Andersons and The Golf Club), a steam railway, a Post Office and local shop. A Fish and Chip van visits once a week and freshly baked pizzas are available most nights from the rear of Andersons restaurant.
In addition to this the local town of Aviemore is 5 miles away and has every modern convenience you could ever want.
Accommodation
Camping
We have negotiated use of the Village hall and playing fields as a pop-up campsite for our group. You will have access to showers, toilets, a kitchen area with some fridge space, a camping spot and trailer parking. In addition there will be Elsan disposal available in the form of two Portaloos.
No hook ups are available. Rubbish needs to be taken away, which I can arrange, and recycling facilities exist in the village for glass, paper, plastic and metal etc.
The cost for the 6 nights will be £160 per unit (tent or motorhome), and is non refundable. Unfortunately, there is not an option to reduce the price if you wish to stay for fewer nights.
Hotel/Guesthouses etc.
The village has one large Hotel (The Boat), a variety of Guest houses, a static Caravan Park and various rental houses. These can be found using the usual booking sites and simple internet searches.
If you are interested in coming, please contact me in the first instance and I will add you to our email list for further details as more is organised.
Camping pitches are strictly limited, so if you wish one, please contact me asap. They will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be added to once we reach the maximum number.
