I have recently bought an Austin 7 engine complete with all the ancillaries attached from a ‘time warp’ garage here in Suffolk, the engine number is M67840 , would someone date it please.

Thank you for your prompt replies, the present owner of the garage is the son of the previous owner and recalls playing around the garage as a child and yet has no recollection as to how long the Austin 7 engine has been there. I originally went to the garage to buy a 1930s Armstrong Siddeley preselect gearbox ! A definite case of serendipity.
