LED astray
#11
In agreeing with David, I have standard bulbs for indicators but fitted LEDs for rear and brake light combination. However, having had a couple of instances where people appear to have not seen/ignored my filament bulb indicators I am wondering about the increased brightness of indicator LEDs from a safety perspective.

Agreed David.  I have used part of what you sent me on the tourer and I'll use the rest on the Pearl.  Incidentally your clear plastic lenses and orange bulbs make a very discreet front pair.

Having been led astray by exhortations to fit LEDs.......but one of the things I tried was to build a small cradle for the flasher unit out of lead sheet to try and cut out the stray (not astray) electrical impulses but that did not work.  So now I have a nice cradle waiting to be used - a lead ashtray perhaps?
