Looks very good Duncan, can you elaborate a bit on your tools and methodology. I'm about to start on the new bonnet sides for our single seater special
Cheers Greig

I'm about to start on the new bonnet sides for our single seater special I had a pair of wheels made for a 23" deep-throat swager. They cut and form and I finish of by hand. The idea came from this pic on google images and also from Lazze metalwork videos on youtube. The machine in the pic looks a bit lightweight to me, I bought a similar one and had to send it back as it tended to twist even under light pressure. To set up it's a bit pricey for a one-off...if you want some cutting in panels for you to make into bonnet sides send me a PM Greig, Ive just traced your profile and realised you're in the Antipodes, oops! |
