Any ideas on this part ?

Good evening chaps,
After clearing up the shot blasting efforts I found this part, I think it’s come from the rear springs and only have one... any pointers ? I’m also looking for a picture how to install the cross shaft brake spring ?

We discussed something similar under rear springs. It looks like the spacer you need on top of the rear leaf springs when reducing the number of leaves. This stops the u-bolt bottoming out in the slot and keeps the head of the nut in the hexagonal hole in the chassis rail.

Strange only to have one but once it all goes back together I guess I'll quickly find out if another is needed :-)

Now on the look out of the cross shaft correct layout !
