Leaking Ruby Sunroof
#1
Hi,

.jpg   Leaking Ruby.jpg (Size: 147.28 KB / Downloads: 233)

I haven't had this car long - but the guy who sold it assured me the roof NEVER leaks.  But, whenever I drive it in the rain (see picture) I always get soaked.  Any suggestions?

Do what the previous owner obviously did and don’t take it out in the rain.

Exactly where does it leak?

Was this written slighty early, the month changing at midnight?

Sorry, I moved house yesterday - to Littleborough - where it rains even more, which won't help.

Best answer so far - pacamac.

Where does it leak? Down my wife's neck.

Having grown up travelling in the back of a Mk2 Ruby, it never knowingly didn’t leak (even after a new sunroof)!

The source of each individual leak was hard to track because the water always travelled to a point where it could drip in the most irritating manner (often down your neck/in your lap). The car is in the process of being recommissioned after a long layup and much duct tape has been removed!
