Fascinating to see the different views of the electric Austin and with that in mind, take a look at this:

Very interesting and what a shame. In addition, who would want to invest in the UK with the highest energy costs in the world, together with a new and vast raft of measures that appear to discourage employment? The only advice would be to move to the USA and take advantage of their can-do attitude where electricity is 1/4 the cost and gas 1/5th. Sobering report: https://iea.org.uk/were-number-one-in-un...ectricity/
Oh well. The hope is that a new government will be in place by 2030 and Net Zero abolished.

Why does anyone want Net Zero to be abolished?  Expensive electricity and gas are good. Increase the prices enough and people will be forced to change to a better sustainable lifestyle. If worldwide we could get people to consume less goods it might be enough to slow down global warming.
Unaffordable electricity is good!
