Late Ruby/Pearl Door Card Carpet
#1
Anybody got photos/drawings/sketches of the late Ruby/Pearl door card oval carpet?
Is it just stuck to the door card vinyl or is it inserted through?
Also it would be useful to have info how door pocket fixed to the door card.
As you will gather just doing some restorative work on the cockpit of our Pearl!

These two shots (Late and Early) might help:

There was an article in the A7CA magazine some while back about restoring the elasticated pocket.  I am hesitant to reproduce here due to copyright.

I have a complete door card including the pocket and oval carpet in the garage which came from my 1937 Ruby (the 50th from the last A7), I kept as a pattern for the new ones.

Thank you, Colin - this is a very late car (quite different from the photos above), usually with a single piece bonnet hinge and other differences. Tim Reynolds (Parazine) had newest Ruby version of this model known to exist, he may have photos...

That's brilliant! Could you please take some photos, so I can pass onto Navid Nightingale?
