Thanks Tony, that takes me back! Most of the magazines I worked on only has very small colour sections and those sections revolved around colour advertising which often dictated how much colour editorial space we had.

Cutting out was all done with white paint on the original photograph or red rubilith on the film, both required excellent eyesight and a very steady hand…not sure I could manage that these days!

In case anyone is wondering, the headlights are Austin 10 for which there used to be a kit of rims that would take  the smaller Morris Minor sealed beam or bulb units.......I just happened to have both items in the shed.
