Following the recent flurries of light snow in northern Europe, an Austrian owner has volunteered his St Bernard model to assist in any rescue operations:

This is another Norbert Bertolini photograph, taken post-1934 when he modified his BMW DA3 with cycle-type mudguards, twin spare wheels and a special folding steering wheel - the hinge-line can just be seen in the rim in this photo, other pictures show the bottom half of the rim folded up to allow easier access when getting in or out of the car:
