No barge pole required

Water ski special: A crudely and loosely assembled collection of parts with an unfinished rudimentary body, complete with wings that are sometimes likened to recycled waterskis. Usually described with the benefit of rose-tinted spectacles in relation to missing parts and the effort required to complete.

To be fair, the bodywork on this appears to be more 'polished' if such a term can be used. Probably as a result of finding a special to flip rather than a saloon.

If so I wonder why it was photographed in the semi-dark.

A chap I know bought the Gould Imp that he sold... I have very few words to describe it, but caveat emptor.

Other than the water ski special that was resold on Ebay as "not so much a car but suitable only as a shop window dressing..." does anyone know what has become of any of the others? There have been quite a few. I particularly (dis)liked the one with the chromed Ruby grille...
