I'm not much of a book reader but while on holiday and in The works I bought a book called "High performance,When Britain ruled the roads".

They are selling it at £6, I found it good reading, 41 short stories based on the motor industry many stories flowing into the next including mentions of 7's.
Many stories, starting in the 1920's, through the war and up to the sixties I found it difficult to put down.
