RP dimensions

My 1932 Austin 7 RP is slightly leaning to one side.  I suspect a weak REAR spring.
Can anyone advise , of how to check for the cause of the problem and in the 
event of a weak spring does anyone supply new rear springs now.

Ian Dunford is the man for springs and they are spot on correct. 
If your springs are worn like that it is worth considering changing all of them. 
Certainly shackles and bushes ought to be done.
It is also a good time to fully service the shock absorbers. 
Your car will ride like a princess then.

Thanks Nick,  I have in fact just serviced both rear shockers.  I have been experiencing an occasional knock
when "pot holing" and whilst grovelling under the car doing the shockers, I did notice that the footwell in the back
comes extremely close to the shocker bracket on the side that the car is leaning. I suspect this is where the Knocking
is coming from.

Check that the spring clamp just rearward of the chassis end hasn't been contacting the underneath of the body under bump conditions. There'll be a round indent if that's the case

If the car is jacked on something narrow in the exact centre of front axle the relative rear spring strength will be evident. A broken leaf is always a possibilty.
