Stoneacre Trial - 23 September 2018
#11
A select band of enthusiastic/mad triallists gathered in deepest Kent yesterday to enjoy a day of rain, mud, and cameraderie. It poured, and therefore photo opportunities were a bit limited. And of course, just as we finished the final hill, the sun came out.

Stoneacre is an excellent venue and great fun. Sincere thanks go to Barry, Mike, and all the helpers and marshals who braved the inclement weather. Next trial is the Cold Turkey on December 29th at Tulleys Farm. Come and have a go.

Eventually the sun made an appearance.

Mmm. Tea and choccy cake to end the afternoon (thank you BRM caterers)

Thanks for the photos, Nick, and 'thank-you' to competitors and marshals who braved what looked to be a very nasty day (heavy rain and winds forecast) and turned out to be a classic English drizzly day. On a personal note I very much appreciated the caterer's gazebo which kept the rain off the score cards and forms.

Next 750 Motor Club Tunbridge Wells Centre trail will be the Cold Turkey Trial at Tulley's Farm on the 29th December. Details and entry form from me!

Yes. Thanks to Barry, Mike and the rest of the hardy band of stalwarts who made it possible. Some great fun sections and I, for one, thoroughly enjoyed it in spite of, or perhaps because of, the conditions. Thanks very much again.
