It is a project with no ID. The aluminium is very good, but there's nothing much to suggest the rolling chassis has been sorted. It's been for sale for quite a while. RE: Speedax Bargain? - Chris KC - 21-03-2025 It's not really my cup of tea, but a properly sorted Speedex with all the bits would go like a rocket. I very briefly owned one in the late 70's, but part-exchanged it for my Nippy. As Nick observes, there's not much indication here of what, if anything, has been done with the chassis and mechanicals - I'd expect to find some signs of renovation for the price. I wonder if that nosecone has been replaced more recently than the rest of the body, they were rather vulnerable to accidental damage; don't ask me how I know... |
