Tennants seem to have addresses in Harrogate, Leyburn and London, so where does this event start? And 'Motorsport' is mentioned, so what sort of event is it please? RE: Heather & Honey Run 2025 - Jeff Taylor - 15-12-2024 Apparently it includes lunch at 'Tennant's Tea Rooms at Leyburn' and is described as "A lovely run around North Yorkshire". https://pwa7c.co.uk/event/heather-honey-run Here's a few more details (i.e. it's an approx 50 mile run around the Yorkshire Dales starting and finishing in Leyburn) of this year's 2024 event on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/events/the-garden-rooms-at-tennants/heather-honey-run/354474573968535/ RE: Heather & Honey Run 2025 - Nick Turley - 15-12-2024 Hi Andrew It starts and finishes at Tenants in Leyburn. It is a lovely run, none competitive, finishing with a lunch. It and other similar events are required by law to be registered with Motorsport UK in order for them to have insurance. All the income for this event goes to Yorkshire air ambulance. Should you want more detail please email Chris Simpson. I hope you enter and enjoy it. RE: Heather & Honey Run 2025 - Malcolm Parker - 16-12-2024 The Heather and Honey Run is a super event that supports a very worthwhile cause. The entry of 50 cars is made up of pre-war and 1950's cars of all types. The event moved to Tennants Auction House in Leyburn last year and this is a quite superb venue. My involvement is to advise on the route, last year the route took in the Buttertups Pass and the Grinton MOD ranges so it is more than a gentle tootle along! |
