Ruby Spare Wheel Bracket - Stephencrisp360 - 05-12-2024 Hello Friends I'm wondering if anyone here has a good version of the bracket to hold the spare wheel in on the Mk2 Ruby? The one I have, is a shaped plate with a bolt through . the condition would certainly damage the newly coated wheel , so before I line it with felt etc, i was wondering if it even was the right thing. I will upload a picture shortly. Steve RE: Ruby Spare Wheel Bracket - Peter Naulls - 05-12-2024 It should look like this, with two pieces of shaped rubber riveted on. RE: Ruby Spare Wheel Bracket - A7JoJo - 05-12-2024 Hi, I have a Mk1 Ruby and it has the same as the one shown in the picture. I did remove the existing rubber and replace it with new and it does the trick. Hope this is useful? RE: Ruby Spare Wheel Bracket - Stephencrisp360 - 06-12-2024 ohh. it does not look at all like that! Failing that - what are the dimensions? I assume that the bigger pad goes on the tyre? Steve RE: Ruby Spare Wheel Bracket - David Cochrane - 06-12-2024 As far as I know they're not being made new, but you might be able to get one from the usual 2nd-hand parts suppliers. |
