Pinion Nut (hold bearings) - mopetta - 18-11-2024

Hi
I just bought a new CWP set from David Cochrane, but this one has a left-hand threaded nut to hold the bearings.
My old one is right hand threaded and David is not able to provide the nut.

Does anyone have such a nut for me ?

thanks, Oliver

Have you tried Tony Betts or Tony Leslie?

If you can't find a nut, one could be made. A local machine shop might be able to help, but if you can't find one, look in the back of any magazine devoted to vintage motorcycles. There are usually one or two adverts from men with small workshops - usually retired toolmakers - who specialise in making one-off parts.
