RE: Austin Outside Buckingham Palace - Andrew Fallon - 20-10-2024 Kingpins in stock there. RE: Austin Outside Buckingham Palace - John Cornforth - 20-10-2024 I bet that driver appreciated all the helpful advice he got ! RE: Austin Outside Buckingham Palace - John Barker - 27-10-2024 Looking at the "larger headlights" mounted on the front wings instead of the radiator, I think this is a late production Gordon England Cup. That is late 1928 to March 1929. RE: Austin Outside Buckingham Palace - Ian Wegg - 27-10-2024 The picture is on the Gordon England Register website. PK-5421 is a Surrey registration, issued between May 1928 and May 1929. I thought it looked familiar and then realised it's the image used on the genealogy website Find My Past when there is a problem. A lot of these late Cups appear to have reached the Export market, perhaps a last ditch attempt to save the company? |
