RN bulkhead over gearbox - Scarlet O'Hara - 20-08-2024 Hi, I am trying to sort out my RN box but need some information on the shape of the bulkhead above the gearbox. I'm trying to determine if the recess behind the engine is uniform all the way down or is it tapered to become flush with the bulkhead at gearbox height. Not sure if that makes any sense but if anybody could post a photo of that area taken from the inside it would be a great help. Many thanks in advance. RE: RN bulkhead over gearbox - Chris KC - 20-08-2024 My car is an RP but I *think* this area is the same? The bulkhead has a recess in it behind the cylinder head, about 8" across; this recess is wedge shaped and tapers vertically, so at the bottom edge of the vertical face of the scuttle it's flush. RE: RN bulkhead over gearbox - bob46320 - 21-08-2024 A very poor photo as I don't have the RN any longer. and its rotated 90 degrees !! |
