SU float level - bobthompson - 15-08-2024 I wish to check the fuel level in the jet on my HS2 carb. It has the newer plastic float and Viton needle in the float chamber. I have read various levels recommended, 1/8" to 3/8" and 3-6mm, measured below the jet bridge in the carb. Does anybody have a definitive figure please? RE: SU float level - Alan - 15-08-2024 It’s actually not that critical but I set to 3/8in below the jet bridge. Alternatively with the choke lever fully down the fuel should just flood the jet. RE: SU float level - bobthompson - 16-08-2024 Thanks Alan, I'll go with that then. |
