High Compression Ratio Heads - Charles P - 14-05-2024

I did have a note of how much the CR increases when you machine a '37 head, but I can't find it.
I recall that the standard head is 1" thick but want to know how much taking 40 thou off impacts the theoretical CR
Can anyone help?

Thanks

Charles
