Talking of trials... - Steve kay - 09-01-2024

Last year the Falcon Club ran a trial celebrating 75 years, which was very fully subscribed and an extremely well organised sporting event. Having claimed that it was just a one off event, the hugely favourable response has encouraged another trial this year, on Sunday 3rd March. PWA7C is,  since lunchtime, one of the invited clubs. Starting from Broadway, 72 miles of Cotswolds including 14 miles of green lanes, well known hills such as Postlip, Burcombe, Honeycombe and one of the three hills rising out of Saintbury. There will be 16 sections, including Turkish Delight quarry. This is a highly recommended event, last year's entry was a magnificent mixture from Honda 90s upwards in the number of wheels and horse power, ideal for Austin Sevens and 2CVs.
