Just spotted this for sale on the Facebook 'Ford Sidevalve - For Sale, Wanted & Exchange' public group. The seller mentions that it came out of an Austin (presumably 7) special powered by a Ford 8 / 10hp engine. Please note I've no connection whatsoever to this item, you'll need to contact the seller Pete Mann through Facebook.

I once had a gearbox conversion similar to this, 40 years ago or more. It was a 1935 Hillman gearbox adapted to a Ford 10 bellhousing. It was in a Special, open propshaft, not a torquetube.
