For owners of the Cosy Coupe - Tony Griffiths - 11-12-2023
In an Austin 7, snug and small,
On snow-kissed roads, we start our thrall.
To the Swiss Alps - a winter's dream,
- the carb set for economy, so extra lean -
The rare Coupe, a cozy embrace,
with its intimate charm, in a very small space.
Climbing hills with a rhythmic hum,
Engine purring, cold air is numb.
Snowflakes dance, a waltz in the air,
as we ascend, without a care.
Through winding trails and icy turns,
over the Jura - adventure yearns.
Then Alpine peaks, majestic and grand,
cloaked in white, a wintry land.
The coupe's warmth, a cherished delight,
- even the over-stressed gearbox has turned out alright -
As so we chase the fading day, and finally arrive,
at last to ski - and feel alive.

I had been wondering why the young lady had such flushed cheeks and especially why she had her windcheater unzipped to her waist. Now I know!
