RN seat mounting - Scarlet O'Hara - 12-11-2023 Hi all, could anybody please post some pictures of the underside of some RN seats to show how they are bolted onto the fixed hinges? Also, are the seats on a 1932 RN the same as fitted to the type 65 but without the extra steel plate rivited on at the front? Thanks for any replies. RE: RN seat mounting - Dave Mann - 13-11-2023 Here are some photos of the RN seat mounting, you will note that there are are a row of holes in each side of the seat base and that the photos show that the seat is mounted on the front holes to get the seat as far back as it will go. The wood spacers are to give a better driving position. |
