Stuart Rolt Oral History on the Archive Web site - Archivist - 17-09-2023

Under somewhat sad circumstances, I can announce that an Oral History recorded with Stuart Rolt a while back has been published on the Archive Web Site. A tower of strength in Austin 7 engineering as well as many other forms of motoring. Perhaps we will never see his like again...

Sad circs indeed Hugh, but I'm so glad this little fragment was captured while there was still the chance to do so. I will sit down quietly to do the recording proper justice, but I just ran the first couple of minutes and it's Stuart to a tee! - so a big 'thanks' to those who did the planning, recording and editing.

Absolutely absorbing and so important to have this record on the archive, thank you Hugh, Nick and of course Stuart.

That's terrific. What a nice man he was.
