Sliding roof runners - Hugh Barnes - 15-09-2023 In my ongoing reinstallation of my sliding roof, my attentions today are going to turn to the operation of the sliding panel. I have some very 'dense' felt I plan to cut pads from to fix to the metal runner brackets. Has anyone got any really good ideas how I should do this? I am thinking Evostick, but would be interested to hear any other proven approaches? tia... Edit: Actually, I was taught a tip from tech support at Evostick a while back. If you make up a 'primer' of evostick let down with some of the Evostick Cleaner/solvent and pre-coat the two surfaces to touch dry, *then* use the Evostick, you get much better adhesion.. Seems to work... |
