Stuart Rolt update - ppearson - 08-07-2023
I spoke to Stuarts UK family late yesterday and I can now share with you all the following.
The funeral will be a private family service.
An event is being planned and being called 'A Celebration of Stuarts life by his Family, Friends and Colleagues'.
It will take place on Tuesday the 22nd August and start at about 5 -6 pm. It will take place at the family farm near to Shepshed.
Shepshed is at junction 23 on the M1. Next week I will get detailed instruction and a post code for the venue. It is less than a mile off the M1 and I was at the same venue just about 3 years ago to celebrate Stuarts 80th birthday.
At the farm there will be a mowed field for parking, camping or motorhomes.
Decisions regarding food and refreshments are still to be made.
I expect to be in a position to fill in all the gaps sometime next week.
I simply wanted to get the chosen date to you all ASAP.
I am very much looking forward to the evening and so are his family.
