If there was a V5 or other convincing paperwork the asked price would make more sense.

Even with paperwork it's still a collection of parts seemingly 50% rusted away.... I've always fancied a Chummy but not this one I'm afraid

I agree; just take any one aspect of the car - say the dashboard - and work out the cost of getting just that into restored condition. Headlamps, bodyshell, engine, gearbox and back axle rebuilds - the axle looks to be so badly rusted that the side tubes must, surely, be weakened - and so on and so on. It's mostly just a pattern to have things made with even the chassis looking beyond salvaging - if the spring clamps have rusted through the corrosion damage must be terminal. Good luck to anyone brave enough to take it on
