Seven Screw Threads - Martin Baker - 17-04-2023 I seem to remember there was a post some time ago detailing all the thread sizes used in an Austin Seven. I can't find it now. Is my memory correct? If so can someone please give me the link? RE: Seven Screw Threads - squeak - 18-04-2023 cornwall club site lists the information here https://www.austin7.org/Data%20Pages/Tech%20Data/#Austin%20Seven%20Threads RE: Seven Screw Threads - Tiger - 18-04-2023 Great information from the Cornwall club. I printed all 6 pages for my A7 folder. RE: Seven Screw Threads - Erich - 19-04-2023 I seem to recall that some parts, hubs perhaps, used Admiralty threads. Might these be some of the special threads listed? Additionally, BSPT and BSPP. The items marked as 'special' in the Cornwall club listing are all WF (Whitworth Form) threads -they're mostly 16 TPI; this forum is the only place I've heard them referred to as Admiralty threads. All the old Lucas lamps I've dealt with have had BSB threads, Not cycle as per the listing. |
