If contemporary advertising is to be believed people were Very Small in the 1930s... The cover of my BSA three-wheeler handbook shows a trike apparently driven by PORGs (person of restricted growth) with two even tinier ones in the rear "seats"...

Yes, lovely photographs.
Judging by the hood line I think the car next to JN 670 ( Southend on sea reg. ) is a Morris Minor.

I remember back in the early 1950’s , granny taking all of us to Marlow (30 miles) in herFabric Mulliner   . Four adults , my sister 3 and me 6. Every 5-6 weeks
