Mystery parts, part 1 - Nick Lettington - 11-02-2023 I recently acquired a quantity of parts, some clearly not Austin 7, but some that either are or could be used for a special, and some that might fit other cars in your fleet. Some have reference numbers, but I'm struggling to find cross references on line. If you recognise anything and can point me in the direction of the vehicle or vehicles it fits, that would be amazing. Everything needs to find a home, so if it's useful to you, please make me an offer... Windscreen pillars... Windscreen... I don't think the windscreen is though - the top of a Morris 8 Tourer / Two-Seater screen is totally flat - yours appears to show a slight curvature? I would also suggest that the top corner radius' of a Morris 8 screen are slightly tighter than yours appear to be. Jeff. RE: Mystery parts, part 1 - Stuart Giles - 11-02-2023 That 'Horseshoe' lamp glass looks like a Lucas one. There are a few sizes, the most common is probably the Morris 10/4 size that goes in a 7.25" ID rim, the OD of the rim is 8.25" the lamp glass is just over 7.75 OD" RE: Mystery parts, part 1 - Nick Lettington - 11-02-2023 Stuart GilesThat 'Horseshoe' lamp glass looks like a Lucas one. I have found a lucas reference D810-3 RE: Mystery parts, part 1 - Lowespeed - 13-02-2023 The last one looks like the Lucas - Graves type fitted to RN's. Depends on the diameter RE: Mystery parts, part 1 - Nick Lettington - 13-02-2023 Over 8 inches. The reeded 714s may all be sold now, subject to being paid! |
