Mystery gearbox - winchman - 12-01-2023 Hello Would any one know what vehicle this is from? RE: Mystery gearbox - Mike Costigan - 12-01-2023 I would guess a light car from the early 1920s; the drum is a transmission brake, and presumably the gearbox is located separately from the engine and clutch. The 'quality' of the gearchange lever suggests a relatively cheap car, but it's probably a proprietary unit which may be common to a number of vehicles. |
