Lucas Difusa logo on an R47 headlight affixed to a '29 Gordon England Stadium. First time I've come across these.
The car is also fitted with a top screen mounted Powell and Hanmer wiper motor as original equipment. Again the first time - I had no idea they made these motors. P&H supplied headlights to early Sevens and placed one of their people on the Austin board of directors. This so frightened Lucas that in '29 they bought P&H for £500,000.

I seem to recall 'The Complete Automobilist' used to supply those Lucas transfers back in the 1980's ?

Further to my posting on the Powell and Hanmer wiper motor, enclosed is a photo showing it being described as an ELECTRICYPER (!)
It is 2 1/4" deep and situated directly in line with one's forehead
