Oil leakage from the dipstick hole. - John Mason - 01-09-2022 Hello all, My car a 1935 Mk1 Ruby has just started to leak oil from the dipstick hole. This leads me to think that the crankcase is not venting correctly. I have checked the holes are clear in the valve chest cover and there is no blockage there. I have checked the oil level and it is level to the full mark. Not over filled. Does anybody have any suggestions as to the cause of this problem. The engine runs smooth and pulls well with no apparent problems other than this leakage from the dip stick. John Mason. |
