Wiring Info - k8207418 - 09-08-2022 Some info from Autosparks http://www.da7c.co.uk/technical_torque_articles/A7%20Wiring.pdf http://www.da7c.co.uk/technical_torque_articles/new_wiring_diagram_for_rubies.htm https://ea7c.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/wiring-diagram.pdf or RE: Wiring Info - A G Wood - 11-08-2022 That is very interesting, this (v2 with parallel circuits at the dip switch terminals) is exactly the original 1938 headlamp wiring and odd ball colour codes I found on my 14/6, and replicated when I rewired it. It had the dip & switch system solenoids installed in both headlamps, but the reflectors had been fitted with BA15D lamp holders wired for twin 36W filaments and the solenoids were never enabled. No doubt this was done to comply with NZ Lighting Regulations, which as far as I know, have never given approval to any dip & switch system. I was wondering where the weird colour codes had come from, to my relief it looks to be Factory. Auto Sparks must have modernised a contemporary schematic? If they were generating their own schematic I reckon they would've used the generic Lucas/BS standards RE: Wiring Info - k8207418 - 11-08-2022 The schematic at the bottom isn’t from Autosparks I included for info RE: Wiring Info - A G Wood - 15-08-2022 Thank you, yes I see John Cornforth's name on it |
