Removed the hoses today, the bottom of the rad has some greasy slime in it and the ports to the engine are full of what looks like Crystallised Anti freeze, loosened easily enough and hoovers out but how would you flush the system ?
I thought warm water?

On our Reliant Scimitar forum many have praised the use of Coca Cola, or was it Pepsi, as a cheap fill up and run for a while method of cleaning out the internals.
