Centenary - A remarkable moment - Mick Hanna - 30-07-2022

When I first arrived at Moreton I parked my Ruby under a tree close to our accommodation block. Not long afterwards a similar Ruby parked behind mine belonging to C. Luff (DGP 77). By chance, this is almost exactly the position the two cars were in on the production line, chassis numbers being only 2 apart (ARR 252621 and ARR 252623). There was space for the middle car, but it probably hasn't survived.

Superb!

Close! At the 50th, in Longbridge, from memory, we had only two cars with consecutive chassis numbers. The next car down the line to mine (PL3002) survives but unfortunately was not present at Moreton.

That's brilliant.

What are the chances?
