All went well until we had to stop in Idbury with the Box steaming up. This turned out to be caused by yet another defective head core plug which had a pinhole in it. My daughter-in-law sensibly suggested sticking a pin in it so I did and with the aid of some water provided by a friendly villager we went up the Fosse Way back to Moreton-in-Marsh where the core plug was quickly replaced, thanks to assistance from Ian Tillman.
