Not the smallest car in the show - Nick Salmon - 02-06-2022

Took the Chummy to a local Jubilee fete and reckoned it would probably be the smallest vehicle there. But no. What should turn up but this beautifully built (by a retired vicar apparently) scale replica of a Series 1 Land Rover. 

Powered by a Reliant engine and with a Reliant back axle cut down and 'amended' using scaffold poles. Absolutely splendid!

Oh, and I found the under seat box an ideal location for a pair of delicious sausage rolls purchased from the tea tent. Never seen that use mentioned in the handbook...
