Renault 4 Big End Shells - Martin Baker - 19-05-2022 Has anyone heard of the German company IPSA? I found reference to them by accident and found a distributor offering R4 big end shells at about £18.50 per set of four, with oversizes to 1.5mm. I've generated a spec sheet if anyone's interested. May be an answer as R4/5 shells are seeming to becoming difficult to source at a reasonable cost. I have no commercial interest, just wanted to share my finding. RE: Renault 4 Big End Shells - Tony Betts - 19-05-2022 hi martin, ive never heard of them. i have my supplier searching for glyco shells. the only thing id say is check the fitting spec, glyco is different to most other shell suppliers. and as far as i know new 1 1/2 cranks are usually made to take glyco shell. well done for following them up. tony. RE: Renault 4 Big End Shells - Alan - 19-05-2022 This is really useful to know. Thanks. RE: Renault 4 Big End Shells - Charles P - 20-05-2022 R4 shells aren't that hard to find, except in the 0.25 undersize which is harder to track down. You can get them in France more easily (as easy as buying anything outside the UK is these days) Charles |
