Not A7 - but rather lovely - Tony Griffiths - 18-05-2022

Knowing there are several on the forum who like early French sporting cars, here's a fine example from a magazine cover that I've lightly restored. Can the make be determined?
The caption reads: ...no family, no husband, no lover...and sn open exhaust. Click the image for a crisper picture

She too fast for most. Curious tyres for the time. Shows up one of the major defects of moderns; the very inadequate mudguard coverage. And from side swiped parked cars I observe in my bicycling forays, the wheels did not get wrenched  out of alignment in every minor encounter.

Perhaps a citroen with a one spoked steering wheel

The tyres look like period Michelin's, or the artists impression of them.

Thank you, Martin, I couldn't find a suitable illustration. The similarity to the Michelin is even more marked when the tread is a bit worn!

It has a look of a Voisin about it...

Which is quite apt, because tomorrow it is "La fête des voisins" here in Macronland. Nothing to do with the car, but just being neighbourly.
