I am the owner of a battery powered half scale Austin Seven tourer manufactured by David Royle circa 1984. Any information regarding numbers made or contact details of current owners would be greatly appreciated.

I can't tell you much about them except that they also made a Chummy van version. There has been some discussion on the forum previously.

I have an update on the GRP moulds from Royle Cars, When the business was closed all assets including the scale Austin Seven items were auctioned off by Lithgow Sons & Partners. I contacted them and a very helpful Melanie spent some time finding the purchaser. He has now contacted me and still has the moulds.I copy his e-mail to me below.

I have been approached by Messrs. Lithgow Sons & Partners regarding the moulds that I purchased some time ago from the liquidators of David A.C. Royle & Co. for making a half sized Austin Seven & I understand that you may have an interest in acquiring them.

I've gleaned from David Royles book that about 30 were made and sent as far afield as California and New Zealand. Some were sold by Harrods, including a van version. I can post more pictures if anyone is interested

I have a GRP Body, Wings & Bonnet for a Royle chummy i purchased around 18 months ago.
I would be interested in photos of the chassis & running gear of your car please.
I would be very interested in purchasing a set of suitable wheels if anyone has something suitable.
