Boot latch Ruby - k8207418 - 06-05-2022 Hi Can any one send me some good pics of a boot latch or advise what I’m missing This is all I have RE: Boot latch Ruby - stuartu - 06-05-2022 The first thing you are missing is this advice: Always resort to the A7CA archive. If you look here http://archive.a7ca.org/wp-content/uploads/PL_1521.pdf on pages 16-17 it may be that the drawings there will provide a clue. Regards, Stuart RE: Boot latch Ruby - andrew34ruby - 06-05-2022 The mechanism is inside the car, behind the back seat. Difficult to photo in the dark when everything is painted black. RE: Boot latch Ruby - Jeff Taylor - 06-05-2022 Vintage Supplies stock one very similar to Andrew's photo above, but check the sizes given on their website. https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/products/417-face-fix-budget-lock RE: Boot latch Ruby - k8207418 - 06-05-2022 Many thanks Cheers RE: Boot latch Ruby - Nick Lettington - 06-05-2022 I have a modified lock that I fitted to mine until I got one suitable off ebay. If I can find it you can have it for the price of the postage... If you want the plate that goes inside the boot and the key I made for it... a little more. ![]() |
