Brake lights - Paul Govier - 02-05-2022 I'm seeking some help / advice... Which is the the best way to install brake lights onto a SWB coupled brakes car? ..and which is the most appropriate brake light switch to use? Any instructions (and photos ) would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. RE: Brake lights - Reckless Rat - 02-05-2022 You can get a brake light switch from our cherished suppliers. Mount it on the front crossmember with a long spring from the switch pull-rod to the brake rod from the cross-shaft to the foot pedal. There is a little clamp to go round the brake rod, with a small hole to hook the spring into. That then gives you scope to adjust the moment the brake lights activate.
