Tourer body repair - PDavies - 25-03-2022 Is it quite common for A tourer body to have this type of repair ? Are there other things to look out for when you see this repair on an aluminium tourer ( AD ?) Looks like it was done quite some time ago. Thanks RE: Tourer body repair - Ivor Hawkins - 25-03-2022 I’ve seen plenty of repairs like that on Chummies particularly ones like that with a reinforcing plate b3hind and flush riveted. Looks like a pretty solid repair and a vital part of its history! RE: Tourer body repair - Ruairidh Dunford - 25-03-2022 Yes - almost all original bodied Chummies suffer some damage at this point. Solid woodwork and floorpan structure can help prolong the inevitable. |
