VSCC John Harris Trial - Mike Costigan - 05-03-2022 A few photos taken today: RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Mike Costigan - 05-03-2022 and a few more: RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Ivor Hawkins - 05-03-2022 Great pictures! Is the trial open to other marques or just Austin Sevens? RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Mike Costigan - 05-03-2022 Oh yes, Ivor, plenty of heavier metal, I concentrated on the Sevens. RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Ivor Hawkins - 05-03-2022 Thanks Mike, good to see the Bug and the Nash getting an airing, I timed my trip to Derbyshire on the wrong weekend it seems! RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Charles P - 06-03-2022 Looks good. First one I've ever missed RE: VSCC John Harris Trial - Steve Jones - 06-03-2022 (06-03-2022, 12:41 AM)Charles P Wrote: Looks good. First one I've ever missed And you were missed Tremedous result with a wonderful back story. The eventual winner broke a rear spring on his Seven early afternoon. Went to the home of a nearby vintage entusiast who has Sevens among other things, found a suitable spring and a team to help him fit it, replaced the spring and continued on win the trial. I'd been away and the timing was pretty tight for a 3am start. Barry said he had plenty of of marshals so I oaught up on sleep. Love a good "didn't give up" story c |
