Ruby fuses - Tiger - 01-11-2021 I have a few more jobs to complete the Ruby wiring. Could you please advise on the fitting of additional fuse/fuses Regards Tim RE: Ruby fuses - David Grear - 01-11-2021 I always fit a fuse on the wire that goes from the starter motor to the Amp meter that way if something goes wrong behind the dash board the fuse blows before the smoke comes out. RE: Ruby fuses - Tiger - 01-11-2021 Thanks David What size would you recommend? RE: Ruby fuses - GCD - 01-11-2021 It's the smoke in the wires that makes the electric work - When all the smoke comes out, the car stops RE: Ruby fuses - David Cochrane - 01-11-2021 20A should be adequate - that's what I fit in my cars. I fitted a fuse box with 6 fuses from Auto Electric Supplies (www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/305/category/63) e.g. 1. Head lights (16A) 2. Side, tail & brake lights (8A). 3. Side (in headlight), dash lights, USB socket (5A) 4. Indicator/hazard lights (8A) 5. Horn/wiper/auxiliary (8A) 6. Dynamo (16A) |
