Imperial clinch nuts - Scarlet O'Hara - 03-10-2021

Hi, Does anybody know,or can recommend, a supplier of imperial clinch nuts. I need to replace 1 x 1/4 BSF on the propshaft tunnel to locate the handbrake cover plate. If all else fails I'll just have to make one.

I don't but if you use a M6 equivalent and then run a 1/4 BSF tap down it nobody will know and it'll work fine given it's not exactly a stressed component.

You can make them reasonably easily if you have access to a lathe, I have occasionally found Whitworth hank nuts but BSF seem to be like rocking horse #### these days. If you do use metric as Steve suggests there are nice M6 raised head screws available which look right once installed.

I have used brake drum screws available from Seven Workshops.
